We have installed a live webcam at Egg Harbor Lodge so guests can check out the sunsets even when they are not here… check it out on the eggharborlodge.com homepage. There is a filter on the camera so in the day it may seem darker than normal but otherwise the sunsets would be just too bright. It is too cool, I love it.

Wednesday, June 24th, 2009My BFF Nancy Anderson was here last week so we had a sleep over at her cottage in Ellison Bay. After lounging on the dock all day and doing a bit of kayaking we decided to head to Fred and Fuzzy’s for dinner. It was packed like rats but the service was good, Cherry Margaritas delish and our food yummy… oh yeah and there was a sunset. Can’t get any better than that now can you?
We also ran into David Rack who owns Door County Kayak Tours. He gave us the lowdown on his new venture Door County Zip Line at Gravity Trails. It is pretty interesting… Watch our dinner and zip line movie…
Door County- Open for business

I have had calls lately inquiring if Door County has had any flooding… No people, the County is open and ready for business. The weather should be beautiful all week including this weekend. Take a drive and see for yourself. By the way, the sunsets at Egg Harbor Lodge have been particularly beautiful lately.

Hwy 43 from Milwaukee doesn’t have any closures either
