Welcome to Door County’s Egg Harbor Lodge, home of the grandest view on the Door Peninsula!

Egg Harbor Lodge is a family business, established in 1976 by Bob and Gloria Hastings. Today the Lodge is operated by their daughter Sarah Sawyer and her husband Mark. Together, they continue the tradition of warm hospitality that has kept guests returning to Egg Harbor Lodge year after year. From the moment you are greeted at the front desk of the Lodge, with its breathtaking view of the waters of Green Bay, you know you have arrived at an exceptional location in beautiful northern Door County.

Once you are here, Egg Harbor Lodge can be your refuge from the world or your home base for your Door County adventure. On site, guests can enjoy free use of our putting green, tennis court along with unlimited use of our bicycles. Enjoy a swim in our heated pool or a brisk walk along our quarter-mile nature trail, both activities featuring an outstanding view of Green Bay. When you are through recreating, relax those sore muscles in our downstairs whirlpool. Our adults-only atmosphere is appreciated by many.

Egg Harbor Lodge, located close to the center of the Village of Egg Harbor, is a short walk to a variety of restaurants. Casual or fine dining, cocktails or coffee bar, you’ll find everything close by. And if it’s shopping you are looking to experience, Egg Harbor features some of the finest in Door County. But if you decide to walk, bring an empty handed companion to help you carry your packages back to The Lodge!

For guests looking to explore everything Door County has to offer, stop by and visit with innkeeper Mark Sawyer who arrives at the office around 7:30. Mark will greet you with a cup of coffee and the morning paper and as a native, he can guide you to whatever Door County adventure you are pursuing. Sarah who runs The Lodge with her husband, their staff and their children, Nellie, Josh, Emilie and Joe, will make sure your room is perfectly appointed and the grounds are beautiful during your stay.

Beyond The Egg Harbor Lodge, Door County offers a side variety of entertainment. Nearby, The Peninsula Players Theatre has presented over 500 plays in their 70 year history. Their beautiful theatre-in-the-garden presents professional Broadway shows along with new works by established playwrights. Another close-by entertainment offering is The Birch Creek Music Performance Center. Since 1976 this summer music school has been presenting live Big Band Jazz, Orchestra and Percussion/Steel Drum concerts (Mark and Sarah never miss the Steel Drum concerts). Create your own picnic lunch and enjoy it on their grounds before the show.

Music is also the star of The Peninsula Music Festival, whose professional orchestra performs at the Door Community Auditorium in Fish Creek during the month of August. In addition to the Music Festival, the Door Community Auditorium showcases theater, music, comedy and more in their year-round auditorium. Rounding our Fish Creek’s entertainment offerings is The American Folklore Theatre whose casual performances take place in an outdoor theater under the stars in Peninsula State Park.

In addition to outstanding entertainment, Door County is known for its beautiful scenery and abundant outdoor activity. The Egg Harbor Lodge is an outstanding location from which to enjoy all outdoor Door County has to offer.
